Philosophy<\/h2>\n

Maria Montessori was born in Italy in 1870. She was one of the first female physician.<\/p>\n

Maria Montessori innovated the Montessori approach to education which is focused on<\/p>\n

\u201cfollowing the interests of the child.\u201d She believed that everyone learns differently, and at their<\/p>\n

own pace. The Montessori prepared environment can stimulate the individual interests of children.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

Children\u2019s House is tucked away in a quiet residential area of Motoazabu.<\/p>\n

The School is truly a \u201cChildren\u2019s House\u201d where Montessori materials and furniture are<\/p>\n

sized for children. Founded and run by passionate Montessori teachers who strive to create<\/p>\n

a comfortable environment for all children. Our mission is to offer an authentic<\/p>\n

Montessori Education, based on the principles, methods and activities of Maria Montessori.<\/p>\n

Program<\/h2>\n

We currently offer one infant classroom, for children between the age of twelve months<\/p>\n

to thirty six months, and one primary Montessori classroom, for children three to six years old.<\/p>\n

The day starts at 8:30 and finishes at 15:00.<\/p>\n

We also offer After School Care from 15:00 to 17:00 which is available upon request.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

After School Enrichment Program<\/h2>\n

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday :\u00a0 \u00a015:30 – 17:00<\/p>\n

Minimum 2 classes per week<\/p>\n

Different elements of the Montessori environment may be used by the children, such as practical life, sensorial, literacy, cultural science, math\u00a0etc.\u00a0 Teachers will focus on each child individually by age and ability.<\/p>\n
